GREENPELL: THE FIRST REALLY ECOLOGICAL LEATHER Greenpell meets the needs of footwear production thanks to its softness and workability which allow footwear manufacturers to optimise considerably in the use of the article. Reduced waste and easy application of the product allow the producer to achieve rapid and trouble-free production. But Greenpell above all aims to respect the environment and while in the past the general objective was to produce a shoe with natural materials, today, on the threshold of the third millennium this is not enough. Now we have to go further: towards the creation of totally ecological footwear in conformity with the requirements laid down in the directives of the European Union and thus worthy of the Ecolabel mark. The feet are covered only by natural materials, just as if we were walking in a green meadow in direct contact with nature. With Greenpell we are already in the future because its advantages have already become a reality: · maximum naturalness as no harmful and polluting heavy metals are used in the tanning process · conformity with the PCP and aromatic amine limits in force in the GFR · absence of dangerous pesticide products · high transpiration levels · greater sweat absorption capacity than with a normal chrome-tanned hide · pH value close to that of the skin of the feet · much greater than standard comfort
